Thursday & Friday
"What Babies Need" was a great introduction to learning about babies. We learned about what babies need and how to take care of them. We practiced using the language, "If a baby cries, then he needs a bottle." or "When a baby is crying, he needs to go sleep."
How many people are in your family? We counted and charted how many people we each have in our families.
What is the missing number? Counting to 20 and finding which numbers were missing was easy for us!
SECOND STEPS:
Today, we talked how we felt on the first day of school. We brainstormed ways to make friends feel happy and welcome at school. We also practiced introducing ourselves to new friends.
Taighan used connectors to make patterns.
1 ONE is our number this week, ask me to sing the song! We traced, counted and colored the number 1.
BINGO! We practiced identifying age-appropriate shapes.
We love singing and dancing with Ms. Li in music!
Fresh air is so good for the soul!
Reading is also good for the soul =)
We love when the Eagles come over to play with us in centers. We are practicing solving problems, sharing our ideas, and joining a group for play.
Fish friends acted out "Goldilocks and the 3 Bears". (Ky was goldilocks)
We brainstormed "F" words at snack.
We finished our dot art in art class
It's Friday!
We practiced looking for "corner" and "straight" pieces to put together puzzles.
"Alligator Baby" was a silly book. Ask me what happened?
We made a baby book of our fish friends! We talked about "WHEN we were babies" and "NOW we like different things."
In centers, we played with the house, did creation station, and water beads!
Have a great weekend!
