Wednesday and Thursday -Learning about being friends

Cutting practice and matching shapes were good practice!

We are working on one to one correspondence and matching numbers,

Using paint sticks to paint our fish was awesome!

MUSIC: We sang and danced to "Pete the Cat, Rocking in my School Shoes" rolled the ball to our friends to learn their names and did the Marcarena!

We made friendship bracelets. The objective of this was to see what colors our friends liked and make them a bracelet(theory of mind practice).

Matching rhyming words to each other was a tricky task.

"What is your favorite color?"

People connectors

Rainbow fish: We rolled the dice to see how many scales we added onto our fish. This practiced one-to-one correspondence as well as identifying amounts on a dice.

FRIENDSHIP FRUIT SALAD:
We loved the fruit salad we made! We peeled, cut, and stirred the fruit in. We all gave the fruit salad a thumbs up! Thank you for sending in the fruit!

"What is your favorite fruit?" We practiced asking our friends questions and responding appropriately.
Outside we played in the sand!

In centers we played with the light table, farm animals and made rainbow fish. On each scale, we drew a picture of something that makes us happy.

Independent work: Sorting letters and numbers:

Have a wonderful evening!
