Arctic Animals and Hibernation
This week we continued learning about winter, along with arctic animals.
We brainstormed animals that live in the arctic, how they travel, what they eat, and where they go to live. We watched videos of arctic animals moving and eating.

SECOND STEPS: We are learning about identifying different feelings. Today we talked about how 2 friends can have different feelings about the same thing (going to the dentist, Puppet Julia was scared and Puppet Jack was excited)
We worked on cutting arctic animals with us and making a collage. We also wrote arctic words.
SCIENCE EXPERIMENT:
"What will happen to the ice?"
We placed salt, flour, hot water, and cold water over a cup of ice. We predicted what would happen to each cup. Which would melt first?
We mixed food coloring with water in ice cube trays and put them in the freezer, later in the week we will see what happened!
MATH:
Winter Number Matching
We had to count the winter items and write the correct number.
We love this mild winter!
