 "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus" The fish friends thought this story was hilarious.  We had to talk about a lot of word meaning and intonation during this story. It was also a great introduction to thought bubbles and speech bubbles.

"The Car Washing Street" Fish friends shared experiences about going to a car wash but in this book the families wash cars in their neighborhood.  Ask your child what happened on this hot summer day on the car washing street :)
Pattern Blocks 



Transportation Patterns: ABAB, AABB, ABCABC

Practicing using the words "Farthest and farther than" when racing cars. We made predictions and talked about what happened.



Brainstorming Things that Fly: We talked about and watched videos of airplanes, jets, hot air balloons, blimps, and helicopters.



Paper Airplanes: we designed, folded and raced our airplanes. Who's airplane went the farthest?






Recess! We love the sunshine and warmer air!

Scooter Races -who went faster? 


Math- counting windows for the airplanes. We practiced identifying amounts on 2 dice and counting with one-to-one correspondence



Centers with the Puppies and Eagles -magnets and  dinosaurs, oh what fun!
